In a class, a teacher asked her students what are the 7 wonders of the world. The students began to answer: Channel Tunnel, CN Tower, Empire State Building, Golden Gate Bridge, Itaipu Dam, Netherlands North Sea Protection Works, Panama Canal.
But then, there was this one student who seemed to have a hard time answering. So the teacher asked her to share her answers. And her answers were:
- To see, - To listen, - To taste, - To touch, - To smile, - To laugh and, - To love
For her, those are the seven wonders of the world.
[Got this from the mass during the opening of our college week. :) Uhm, I’m not really sure on the ‘first’ 7 wonders]
“Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.”—Romans 12:9-10 (via perfectbetrayal)
